Kevin Phillips has warned Sunderland need to do major business before the transfer window closes - or they are heading for another season of struggle.
After their miraclous escape from relegation under Sam Allardyce last season, the Black Cats have lost their first two games under the now England manager's successor David Moyes.
Moyes, who was only appointed in July, has brought in five new faces this summer but Phillips believes more experienced arrivals are badly needed.
