Simon Grayson insists he is fully focused on Preston North End – despite being the favourite for the vacant Sunderland job.
Derek McIness turned down the Black Cats on Thursday night, opting to stay at Aberdeen instead, and the bookies quickly installed Grayson as the new favourite.
But the 47-year-old, who has also managed Blackpool, Leeds and Huddersfield, insists he’s not bothered about the speculation.
He told the Ray Stubbs on talkSPORT 2: “As far as I’m concerned there’s a lot of speculation about a lot of different jobs, but I’m fully committed to working out what we’re doing for the season at Preston.
