Sunderland manager David Moyes has admitted he’s finally been able to crack a smile after his side’s 2-1 victory over Bournemouth.
The Black Cats had to fight for the triumph, Moyes’ first in the Premier League since taking charge, coming from a goal down to claim all three points.
Dan Gosling had put their opponents ahead before Victor Anichebe’s equaliser, and it looked like Sunderland’s luck was out again after Steven Pienaar’s red card. But Jermain Defoe was the hero, slotting home a penalty won by his strike partner.
