Wolves have opened negotiations with Sunderland over the sale of defender Dion Sanderson amid increased interest for his signature.
The 21-year-old, nephew of former gold-medal Olympian javelin thrower Tessa Sanderson, has been excelling on loan at League One Sunderland where manager Lee Johnson has described him as 'an absolute Rolls Royce of a player'.
His performances have attracted interest from a number of clubs, notably Premier League Brighton and Championship high-flyers Brentford, with Wolves contemplating a sale this summer for around £2million.
