Southampton striker Paul Onuachu is holding talks over a loan deal with Turkish club Trabzonspor.
Onuachu has been left in the cold at St Mary’s following relegation and his only appearance under Russell Martin this season came in the EFL Cup at Gillingham.
The 29-year-old striker was signed for £18million in January after scoring at nearly a goal-a-game at Belgian side Genk but failed to find the net in 11 Premier League appearances.
With Che Adams staying at the club and Ross Stewart signed from Sunderland, the Championship club are happy to let him discuss a move with Trabzonspor who also signed Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe on Friday.
