Roy Keane has confirmed his desire to return to management and says he will see what this weekend brings after being interviewed by Sunderland on Friday.
Sportsmail revealed on Wednesday that Keane was the first choice of many within the club to replace Lee Johnson and he has now met with the hierarchy.
Keane was in the ITV studio for last night’s FA Cup tie between his former club Manchester United and Middlesbrough, and he said: ‘I’d like to go back in as a manager. But a club has to want you, you have to want to go and the contract has to be right.
