Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa vowed to celebrate his fruitful career despite losing his last match 2-0 in the League One playoff final against Sunderland at Wembley.
The 40-year-old hoped for a fairytale ending to his 22-year career by helping Wycombe secure promotion to the Championship, but he was still able to see the positives after the game.
'I've been blessed - my last kick of a ball was at Wembley,' Akinfenwa told Sky Sports.

'I wanted it to end differently. Sunderland were the better team on the day and sometimes that happens in football.
