Leeds United have warned they will ban fans who sing an anti-Palestine song about their Israeli winger Manor Solomon.

In December, the club condemned the chant about Solomon ‘hating Palestine’.

However, Leeds have since received a large number of complaints from fans about its continued use.

They have now promised to increase CCTV surveillance and the stewarding presence in the South Stand, as well as threatening supporters with banning orders.

In a strongly worded statement ahead of Monday’s home clash with Sunderland, the club said: ‘Leeds United again condemn the football chant containing an anti-Palestine lyric aimed at Manor Solomon.
