Former Sunderland man Lorik Cana is a free agent again having left Nantes after just one season.
The Black Cats paid £5m to land Cana from Marseille back in 2009 and he played 31 times in the Premier League before leaving a year later.
He had spells at Galatasaray and Lazio before rocking up at Nantes this time last year and he made 21 Ligue 1 appearances last term.
However, the French club have now confirmed that the Albania international has moved on after deciding he wants a fresh challenge already.
