Sunderland have completed the signing of Didier Ndong from Lorient for £13.6million.
The 22-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Black Cats to become David Moyes' seventh new arrival of the summer.
The deal makes the Gabon international Sunderland's record signing, surpassing the £13m paid for Asamoah Gyan six years ago.
“I am very proud and happy to sign for Sunderland," Ndong told the club's official website.
"This is a new adventure for me and to play in the Premier League is a dream come true."
Ndong arrives on Wearside having made 46 appearances for Ligue 1 Lorient since joining them in January 2015.
