DONE DEAL? Sunderland have signed Lorient midfielder Didier Ndong for £17m, claim reports in France

Sunderland have completed the signing of Lorient midfielder Didier Ndong for £17million, according to reports in France.

Black Cats manager David Moyes promised to be busy on transfer deadline day and he has lived up to his billing.

Indeed, according to L'Equipe, the former Manchester United boss has snapped up Ndong from Lorient for £17m.

The 22-year-old caught the eye of a number of clubs in Ligue 1 last year and he finished the season with two goals in 34 games.

Lorient had hoped to keep hold of Ndong for one more year - but Sunderland's mega bid has forced their hand.
