David Moyes would like to manage Scotland in the future - but he fears they simply aren't good enough right now.
The Sunderland boss watched his country take just one point from the recent World Cup qualifiers with Lithuania and Slovakia, a 3-0 defeat against the latter leading to calls for Gordon Strachan to quit as manager.
Moyes was one of those names linked with the national team job this week and the Glaswegian admits it is a position in which he would be interested.
But the 53-year-old has backed Strachan to continue in the role and says he has sympathy for the under-fire boss given the lack of Premier League players at his disposal.
