A Sunderland fan has been criticised by fellow supporters of the club for a bizarre act he committed during a game against Newcastle on Sunday.
The contest, which took place at St. James' Park in the second tier of the Women's Super League, saw the two sides play out a closely-fought encounter.
Shania Hayles scored the only goal of the game in the 77th minute to give the Magpies bragging rights over their North-East rivals.
But the fixture was overshadowed by the actions of one Sunderland fan - who was keen to poke fun at Newcastle fans.
