The struggling UTSA offense received their first positive bit of news in months as local quarterback Jordan “JoJo” weeks announced his commitment to join the Roadrunners in their 2018 recruiting class. A 6’4”, 220 pound pro-style quarterback from Wimberly, Texas, Weeks recently decommitted from Texas State as a baseball recruit before signing on with the Roadrunners. As first reported by Javi Cardenas of BirdsUp.com, Weeks is the 19th player to commit to join the program in this recruiting class.

While Weeks enjoyed opportunities to play baseball at the next level after competing with an elite select baseball team this summer, UTSA was the first and only school to extend a scholarship offer for his football abilities.
