ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Enrique Pardo, UTA (Sr., Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain)
UTA senior Enrique Pardo extended his singles winning streak to 10 matches, defeating two of his three opponents in straight sets. In the second match of the week, the Mavericks took on Lynn, then-ranked third in NCAA Division III. Pardo faced off against No. 43 Kay Bartmann and defeated his ranked foe 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. In doubles play, he won two of the three matches. For the spring, Pardo is 11-1 in singles and 8-2 in doubles.
