Daishon Smith, ULM (Sr., G, Jacksonville, Fla.)
ULM senior guard Daishon Smith averaged 26.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game while leading ULM to a 4-1 record in games played since Dec. 18. Smith hit 42-of-67 (.627) field goal attempts, including 20-of-35 (.571) three-pointers and 26-of-30 (.867) free-throw attempts. The transfer from Wichita State led the Warhawks in scoring in four of those five games, including four 20-point efforts. Smith scored a career-high 42 points in the 97-84 victory over Little Rock in the Sun Belt Conference opener for both teams.
