NEW ORLEANS - UL Monroe's Rochelle Roberts and Georgia State's Katie Worley earned weekly league honors after Sun Belt softball concluded the second weekend of non-conference play.
Roberts, the Community Coffee Softball Student-Athlete of the Week, was named Co-MVP of the Tiger Classic after her stellar performance this past weekend. She led the Warhawks with 12 hits, 10 runs, two home runs and seven stolen bases (7-7). The Vacaville, Calif., native started the weekend with career-highs of two home runs and five RBIs in a 14-10 win over Northern Kentucky.
