Two FIU players injured in a drive-by shooting in Opa-locka

Senior running back Anthony Jones and freshman offensive lineman Mershawn Miller were victims in a drive-by shooting early this afternoon.

Two FIU football players shot in a drive-by in the area of 2400 NW 141 Street, Opa Locka.
Anthony Jones and Mershawn Miller
both non life-threatening injuries.

Both players according to reports were visiting friends when the shooting occurred.
