LAFAYETTE, La. - Sadler Goodwin hit his first career home run and grand slam as he drove in six RBI in Troy's 10-1 win over Louisiana on Thursday night at the Sun Belt baseball tournament.
Goodwin only had two hits but made the most of his at-bats. He has eight RBI in the tournament, second only to Coastal's Zach Biermann and Louisiana's Hunter Kasuls.
Brandon Lockridge went 3-for-6 with an RBI and and run scored and Rigsby Mosley was 1-for-3 with three walks and three runs scored. Eight of Troy's 10 runs came with two outs in the inning.
