Matt Viator brought his ULM Warhawks into Jonesboro Saturday night trying to turn back the tide of recent history against the Red Wolves, but instead found his team overwhelmed by a faster, deeper Red Wolf squad 51-10. Arkansas State scored on six of its seven first half possessions to take a 42-3 halftime lead led by Justice Hansens’s 258 passing yards at the half. The ULM defense came in suspect stopping the rush, but ASU found plenty of time and space for the passing game, even getting RB Warren Wand involved with 2 TD catches out of the backfield.
