Charlotte is close - but they need a signature win
With just over 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Charlotte trailed Appalachian State 28-20. Following a Mountaineer touchdown and the ensuing kickoff, the Niners embarked on a five-play drive that would manage - eight yards.
