For the third consecutive season and the 12th in program history, the Texas State volleyball team will appear in the NCAA Tournament. The Bobcats drew the No.28 seed in the tournament field of 48 announced Sunday afternoon by the NCAA volleyball selection committee.
The Bobcats (30-8, 15-1 Sun Belt) drew a first-round match against Utah Valley (14-5, 12-4 WAC), the No. 37 seed, on Wednesday, April 14, the Chi Health Center Arena in Omaha, Neb. The winner of that match will face No. 5 Nebraska in the second round. Nebraska received a first-round bye.
Overall, the Bobcats have one NCAA Tournament victory, a four-set win over Rice on Nov.
