Chyna Ellis showed her leadership as a senior helping the Jaguars to a 2-1 week. The senior center averaged 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 assists across the three games. In the latter two games of the week, Ellis had her fifth and six double digit scoring games of the season. She shot 18-41, 43.9 percent, from the field and 12-of-14 from the charity stripe for the week. Against Southern Miss, she had her third double-double of the season and set a career-high in points with 24 to help lead South Alabama to it’s first win against Southern Miss since 2012.
