NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced its men's basketball player of the week on Tuesday.
Adrian Delph, Appalachian State Delph tied his career high 21 points on a season-best seven made field goals in a 61-57 win over Charlotte on Friday. He was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line and added five rebounds and a career best five assists. Leading by one with under a minute to go, App State looked to Delph who drained a fadeaway 3-pointer from the top of the key as the shot clock expired to give the Mountaineers a four-point lead with 13.
