MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – After a compelling first round of the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship at the Robert Trent Jones the Shoals Golf Club, the women's golfers took a little time out for some rest and relaxation at the annual banquet celebrating both the academic and athletic achievements of several women's golf student-athletes.
The banquet, held following Monday's first round, honored several student-athletes including the 2017 Women's Golf All-Conference Teams ahead of Tuesday’s second round of competition.
Texas State’s duo of Anne-Charlotte Mora and Sasikarn Somboomsup were named to the All-Sun Belt First Team as were the duo of Fátima Fernández Cano and Bianca Lohbauer of Troy.
