In a year that’s seen three different people assume the title of head coach at Southern Miss, athletic director Jeremy McClain appears to have brought the Golden Eagles’ coaching carousel to a halt, landing on Tulane offensive coordinator Will Hall. Multiple reports state that the 40-year-old Mississippi native is set to return to the Magnolia State and will be named head coach at Southern Miss. Hall will inherit a team that is currently 2-7 on the season and a program that went 28-23 in four seasons under former head coach Jay Hopson, who resigned one game into the 2020 campaign.
