CONWAY, S.C. - Steady rain at Coastal Carolina Soccer Stadium led to the delay of the first round of the Sun Belt Men’s Soccer Championship on Thursday.
The two opening round matches will now be played Friday with No. 3 seed Georgia Southern playing No. 6 seed Appalachian State at 10:00 a.m. ET and No. 4 seed Hartwick playing No. 5 seed Howard at 12:30 p.m. ET.
The postponement of Thursday’s matches will push matches originally scheduled for Friday to Saturday. Those two matches will be played Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET and 12:30 p.m. ET. The championship match on Sunday is still scheduled for 1 p.
