NEW ORLEANS – No. 3 Georgia Southern cruised past No. 7 ULM with a 81-64 quarterfinal victory to advance to the semifinals of the 2019 Sun Belt Men’s Basketball Championship, presented by First Bank and Trust.
The Eagles (21-11, 12-6 Sun Belt) advance to take on No. 2 UTA at 5:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
Isaiah Crawley scored a career-high 21 points to lead Georgia Southern. He shot 9-of-12 from the field and hit two free throws. David-Lee Jones Jr. made 6-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-5 from 3-point range while tallying 17 points, three assists and two steals.
