BIRMINGHAM - The Texas State Bobcats claimed the men's team title at the 2016 Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex with a team total of 127.5 points. It is the first indoor team title for Jody Stewart's squad from San Marcos, Texas.
Appalachian State claimed the women's team title with 101.5 points. It was the first indoor team title for the Mountaineers since joining the league.
UT Arlington finished second in the men's team standings with 113.5 points and Arkansas State was third with 102.
