Jaguars Win Third Consecutive; Daniels Earns Student-Athlete of the Week Honors
The South Alabama Jaguars are riding a three-game winning due in large part by the play of sophomore guard Marquita Daniels who leads the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game. Daniels paved the way in the last two victories, over Troy and Appalachian State, as she poured in 17 points on 4-8 shooting, along with 8-10 from the charity stripe, in the 75-71 win over the Trojans.
