INDIANAPOLIS --- The field of 64 teams, which will compete for the 36th NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, was announced this afternoon by the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee.
The South Alabama Jaguars, winners of five consecutive Sun Belt Women's Soccer championships, will face off against third-seeded Florida from the SEC on Friday, November 10 at 5 p.m. (CT). USA (14-5-1) clinched its fifth consecutive Sun Belt title on Sunday afternoon with a 5-0 win over Coastal Carolina. The five-straight wins were a new Sun Belt record for consecutive titles.
Florida (14-6-0) fell to Texas A&M in overtime, 2-1, on Thursday of the SEC Tournament.
