The 2020 season came to a close for the Georgia State Panthers and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Saturday. That ended in a 39-21 victory for the Panthers in the LendingTree Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
With the victory, the Panthers get their program’s second bowl win and improve their overall bowl record to 2-2. Their other bowl victory also came against Western Kentucky back in the 2017 Cure Bowl.
The Panthers took a 27-7 lead into halftime and never looked back. Cornelius “Quad” Brown IV threw four touchdown passes with Mikele Colasurdo also adding a touchdown pass.
