PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The eight men’s tennis hit the courts for the first at the 2018 Sun Belt Tennis Championships provided an afternoon and night of intrigue and top-notch competition at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
The first-round matches opened with No. 1 Georgia State making short work of No. 8 Coastal Carolina in a 4-0 win followed by No. 4 Troy and No. 5 Georgia Southern battling in a match that saw the Trojans fight from down 3-0 to steal a 4-3 victory.
No. 7 seed Appalachian State pulled off a 4-2 upset of No.
