Georgia State Football: Rucker Chosen for NCAA Division I SAAC
ATLANTA -- Georgia State football standout Keith Rucker has been chosen to represent the Sun Belt Conference on the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
The Division I SAAC is comprised of one representative from each Division I conference. Its mission is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by protecting student- athlete well-being, fostering a positive student-athlete image and inclusive student-athlete environment, and promoting student-athlete engagement at the national, conference and local levels.
Rucker will begin his term July 1.
The rising senior tight end earned second-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2015, when he caught 39 passes for 522 yards and six touchdowns to help Georgia State earn its first bowl berth in the AutoNation Cure Bowl.
