TULSA, Okla. – No. 3 seed Houston was too much for No. 14 Georgia State as the Panthers fell 84-55 to the Cougars in a 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Midwest Region first-round game at the BOK Center.
D'Marcus Simonds led the way for Georgia State (24-10, 13-5 Sun Belt) with 18 points. Devin Mitchell was the only other Panther in double figures with 10.
