It has been announced that the Georgia Southern Eagles will hold a satellite camp along with the Georgia Bulldogs and Colorado State Rams at Buford High School June 16. Satellite camp news has been all the rage recently, with some coaches being in favor of them, and others like Nick Saban being vehemently against.
From a relationship perspective, the three teaming up makes sense. New GS head coach Tyson Summers spent the last year as the defensive coordinator under CSU coach Mike Bobo. Summers was also a graduate assistant at UGA in 2005, when Kirby Smart was employed as the Bulldogs running backs coach.
