Same crap, different day.
Much like last week’s matchup with Arkansas State, Georgia Southern came out firing on all cylinders in the first half of the game against New Mexico State, but ultimately gave the Aggies the 35-27 win after taking a nap all throughout the second half.
NMSU rolled up 14 points in the fourth quarter after being behind 24-21 to the Eagles at the break, but Georgia Southern wasn’t about to let the Aggies go down without punching itself in the face a few times.
Southern struggles so much with basic pass coverages that it’s a little hard to fathom.
