Tayland Humphrey sent shock-waves through group of five football when he choose FIU over SEC heavyweights like Alabama and Auburn. However, after just one season in Miami, his tenure as a Panther has come to an end.
Humphrey, along with his younger brother John Bolding, who was an offensive lineman on the team, are “no longer with the program,” according to FIU Director of Athletic Communications Tyson Rodgers.
The 6-5, 350-pound Humphrey was the highest-rated recruit in the history of FIU football, when he signed in December of 2017.
He was expected to be paired with another four-star JUCO defensive tackle in Teair Tart and make an immediate impact last season.
