NEW ORLEANS – Sun Belt Conference football had a solid presence in the 2020 NFL Draft with two former standouts chosen on the second day of the annual Player Selection Meeting.
Louisiana offensive lineman Robert Hunt was the second-round pick (39th overall) of the Miami Dolphins and Appalachian State running back Darrynton Evans third-round pick (93rd overall) of the Tennessee Titans.
The selections of Hunt and Evans mark the 13th-straight year the Sun Belt has had at least one player taken and the 12th time in that span the league boasted multiple picks.
