CLEVELAND – Former Coastal Carolina football student-athlete Nicholas Clark was one of eight winners of the John McLendon Minority Postgraduate Scholarship Awards, the John McLendon Minority Scholarship Foundation announced today.
Clark, who played in a total of 37 games for the Chants from 2013-17, recorded 49 tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups and recovered two fumbles in his career at Coastal. He received a bachelor's degree in communication from Coastal Carolina University in December 2016 and worked towards his M.B.A. while finishing out his football career at CCU.
In 2016, he was named to the Big South Conference Presidential honor roll and in 2017 received Sun Belt Conference Presidential honor roll accolades.
