PENSACOLA, Fla. - Michael Flowers scored a season-high 34 points to send the University of South Alabama into the Sun Belt Conference Men's Basketball Championship Quarterfinals. Flowers scored 29 points in the second half to help the Jaguars rally from behind and defeat ULM, 80-72, Friday night in the Pensacola Bay Center.
The Jaguars trailed by eight points, 65-57, with 8:54 to play when Flowers hit two 3s, a jumper, three free throws and another 3-pointer to personally send South Alabama on a 14-0 run and take a 71-65 lead with 5:14 to play. He went on to score five more points in the final five minutes to secure the win.
