NEW ORLEANS – After fierce competition at NCAA Preliminaries in Jacksonville, Fla., and College Station, Texas, the Sun Belt Conference will send 18 student-athletes to the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from June 9-12 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
The top 12 individuals in each preliminary event advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The Sun Belt's Most Outstanding Field Performer Autavia Fluker earned a spot in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships after finishing first in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 70.02m (229-9). The three-time SBC Track and Field Athlete of the Week qualified for the Olympics Trials at the SBC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a mark of 68.
