The offseason in Conference USA has been a rollercoaster this year. With less than two weeks before National Signing Day Southern Miss had to replace Todd Monken who left to be an offensive coordinator in the NFL and hired Jay Hopson days before National Signing Day. Larry Coker stepped down as the head coach at UTSA, paving the way for Frank Wilson as the new head coach but not before Rice head coach David Bailiff interviewed for the job. Western Kentucky has lost pretty much everybody from their coaching staff, oh and UAB football is back. UAB football is back!
