JONESBORO, Ark. – Top-seeded Coastal Carolina is making its second straight Sun Belt Conference volleyball championship appearance after defeating fourth-seeded Arkansas State, 3-1, Saturday night on the Red Wolves' home court. The top-seeded Chanticleers advance to face No. 2 Texas State in Sunday's championship match at 2 p.m. (CT).
The Chants (19-7) initially fell behind in the match after A-State (20-11) took the opening set, 22-25, but stormed back to claim the following three sets, 25-21, 25-23, 25-20, to secure the victory.
Coastal's Leah Hardeman paced the winning side with 19 kills and a .311 hitting percentage.
