Coastal Men's Soccer Suffers 2-1 Setback at William & Mary
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team out-shot William & Mary 17-to-11 and held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks, but it was the Tribe that held on for a 2-1 victory over the 21st-ranked Chanticleers Monday night.
Coastal (0-2) opened the 2016 season with a pair of road matches, falling to #17 Virginia by the same 2-1 tally last Saturday. The Chanticleers will play their home opener this Friday (Sept. 2) by hosting VCU at 7 pm.
William & Mary got on the board on its first shot attempt.
