NEW ORLEANS — Sun Belt women’s golf champion Coastal Carolina is bound for The Buckeye State. The Chanticleers will be 1-of-18 teams competing in the Columbus Regional at The Ohio State University Golf Club – Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio, from May 10-12.
Coastal Carolina earned the Sun Belt’s automatic NCAA berth by virtue of its eight-stroke victory over Texas State in the 2021 Sun Belt Women’s Golf Championship. The Chanticleers have won 2-of-3 Sun Belt titles (2018 & 2021) since joining the conference.
Julie Hovland of South Alabama will also represent the Sun Belt as an individual qualifier at the Baton Rouge Regional at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
