NEW ORLEANS — The Sun Belt’s representatives saw their seasons conclude in their respective NCAA Regionals Wednesday. Sun Belt women’s golf champion Coastal Carolina finished 14th in the Columbus Regional at The Ohio State University Golf Club – Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio, with a 54-hole score of 49-over par 913 (298-313-302).
Senior Frantiska Lunackova tied for 24th at 7-over par 223 (74-75-74) to lead the way for Coastal Carolina.
The Chanticleers earned the Sun Belt’s automatic NCAA berth by virtue of their eight-stroke victory over Texas State in the 2021 Sun Belt Women’s Golf Championship.
