Coach Blake Anderson said he would chose the man "right for Arkansas State" when selecting his next offensive coordinator, and he appears to have done just that by hiring former Middle Tennessee maestro Buster Faulker.
Faulkner took over Blue Raiders play-calling duties midway through the 2011 season before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2012. In 2015, MT scored 33.8 points per game, good for 38th in the nation. The Blue Raiders, who finishes second in the CUSA East last season, were also ranked 17th for passing yards (310.4 pg).
