Arkansas State senior guard Ty Cockfield II averaged 33.0 points on 20-of-35 shooting (.571), including going 6-of-12 (.500) from three-point range, in a pair of games for the Red Wolves. Cockfield poured in a career-high 39 points against league-leading Texas State while adding 27 points in a win over UTA. He was 20-of-21 (.952) at the free throw line, none bigger than seven free throws made in the final minute in the win over UTA. His 39-point outing was the sixth-highest, single-game scoring output in program history and moved him past 1,000 career points.
