FOLEY, Ala. – The Sun Belt Conference announced the 2019 Women’s Soccer All-Conference teams and individual award winners on Tuesday afternoon. The selections were made in a vote by the league’s 11 head coaches.
South Alabama senior, Briana Morris, was named Sun Belt Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year, while teammate, Justice Stanford, a senior goalkeeper, was tabbed as the league's Defensive Player of the Year.
South Alabama’s Gracie Wilson, a midfielder, was named Freshman of the Year and her teammate, Athanasia Moraitou, a senior midfielder, was named the league's Newcomer of the Year.
